Fishing Rules
- We have rod and equipment hire and bait to purchase. You may use your own tackle if cleaned and inspected and dipped.
- Only barbless hooks or hooks with the barb crimped flat are allowed. No treble hooks. Hooks up to size 16 (Thai) are allowed.
- Fish must be retrieved by landing net and returned by a landing net. Pictures can be taken on landing mat or in a kneeling position.
- Unhooking mats (provided) must be used or fish should be kept in the water when unhooking.
- Specimen fish and anything less than 400 grams must be returned to the water. Nile Tilapia, Pacu, walking cat and snakehead up to 1 kilo, can be purchased.
- Anyone mistreating the fish will be asked to leave.
- Rods must not to be left unattended at any time. All rods must be reeled in and placed safely with baits removed from rigs when you leave the swim.
- All bait and containers must be inspected in and going out.
- All food and drink must be purchased from Freddies Cafe. No food or drink to be brought from outside.
- Any rods, reels or equipment, belonging to Freddies Fishing Park, that are broken or lost or damaged will be charged at cost or replacement.
- Rod sharing is not allowed.
- Freddies Fishing Park accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any customers personal possessions.
